Rice Production in Northern Ghana

In Ghana, 60% of rice production is under taken in the north of the country.In the same vain, the northern sector of the country is endowed with fertile lowlands and uplands suitable for the production of rice.The production of the commodity in the region is mainly rained with some level of irrigation in the northern and upper east regions of the country.
